Bedfordshire Branch

Writers Forum Bedfordshire Branch usually meets for workshops on the second Monday of each month, on the first floor of Luton Central Library, St George’s Square, Luton LU1 2NG. The next workshop is on Monday 13 May 2024, running 4.45pm-6.45pm, and is free, with no booking required.

The library’s website is here, and a map of the location is here. It is a short walk from Luton station, and very close to bus stops on St George’s Square. Step-free access is available.

The workshop’s emphasis on performance usually makes it unnecessary to share copies of texts, but you may wish to make an exception for work that is highly visual in character. In this case, feel free to bring extra copies of your work.

The venue does not have its own AV equipment, but you are welcome to bring any portable devices that you might need for sharing recordings or images.

Please see our About page for more on how the workshop runs, and contact us here if you have any queries.

Writers Forum Bedfordshire Branch poets also organise and perform at the Strange Bedsfellows poetry readings, which take place at Brown Books, 77 High Town Road, Luton LU2 0BW. The next reading will take place at 6pm on Thursday 15 May 2024, with special guest poet Peter Philpott. The event is bookable, with donations welcome.
