London workshops

Our long-running, in-person workshops in London usually take place in the meeting room at Pimlico Library, 133A Lupus Street, Pimlico SW1V 3EN, 2.45pm-3.45pm on the first Saturday of each month. The workshops are free, with no booking required. Please note that the December 2025 session will vary from this pattern, and will instead take place on Saturday 13 December, 2.30pm-4.30pm. The change is due to room availability at our venue.

A map of the location is here. The library is about 900 metres from Pimlico Underground Station, at the corner of Lupus Street and Claverton Street, next to the large Pimlico Academy school. If you approach from the east, use the third doorway in the Pimlico Academy building. The library is on the basement level, and has lifts for step-free access. Our room is adjacent to the lifts. You are welcome to bring refreshments; numerous shops and cafés are nearby. (The library has its own café, but this usually closes before the workshop starts.)

The workshop’s emphasis on performance usually makes it unnecessary to share copies of texts, but you may wish to make an exception for work that is highly visual in character. In this case, feel free to bring extra copies of your work.

The venue does not have AV equipment for our use, but you are welcome to bring any portable devices that you might need for sharing recordings or images.

Please see our About page for more on how the workshop runs, and contact us here if you have any queries.
